With the report 100 Italian Stories for future Building”, Symbola Foundation and Fassa Bortolo, in collaboration with the Triennale di Milano, with sector experts and with MadeExpo as technical partner, presented the story of one hundred realities of the building industry which, through innovation, challenge the future.

La Triennale di Milano, Thursday 17th January 2019

During the event at La Triennale, Ermete Realacci, president of Symbola – Foundation for Italian qualities, declared: “These 100 experiences tell us today about the construction of the future: a journey through a composite supply chain that often draws inspiration from tradition to innovate, crossing the knowledge of the workers with industry 4.0. This all-Italian ability brings out skills, training, communities, energies, technologies to contribute to the competitiveness of a cutting-edge nation, despite the various problems and delays that are going through it. An Italy that makes Italy, for a new, more innovative, sustainable, cohesive economy”.

THE PROTAGONISTS

Regarding the protagonists of the research, presented at La Triennale di Milano, Symbola’s press release, concerning the event, quotes verbatim: “these 100 excellences represent an Italy able to keep up with innovation, mixing know-how with beauty – which is also solidity and usefulness – sustainability and quality. There are large and small business, research centers and agencies. The protagonists of “100 Italian Stories for future Building” deal with all-round design to materials, from the implementation of structural interventions to plant engineering, from integrated services to finishes. In this context, the “green”, from aesthetic value, also becomes an integral part of the building and an ally for energy saving”.

So, among the 100 Italian excellences, Aakhn also appears with its history of innovation, sustainability, comfort and energy efficiency for the smart home of the future.

AAKHON & e-HOME STORIE (from the Report “100 ITALIAN STORIES FOR BUILDING” page 17)

The “nZEB Buildings” (nearly Zero Energy Buildings) are buildings with very low energy consumption, capable of independently producing the necessary energy thanks to renewable sources: a European directive provides that from 2020 new buildings must be like this. Aakhon, an Italian company engaged in the design, prototyping and production of technologically advances construction products, has devised a way to create this type of housing at affordable costs. It is the so-called Building 0.0: zero energy, zero emissions, zero waste and inefficiencies. E-Home is its industrialized system for manufacturing components in the factory, then assembled on site, so as to eliminate waste and shorten time.

The technology of the company from Paderno Dugnano (MI) is made up of an opaque casing without thermal bridges; low-emission PVC and triple glazed windows; heat transfer fluids to manage hot water, heating and cooling with passive heat recovery; smart management system to control indoor comfort and health through an intuitive interface that even allows you to check the charging of your electric car. The various components of the building are produced by partner companies (Italian and European), while Aakhon follows and manages all the research and development phases of the building, from design to construction to sale.

A statement by Massimiliano Caruso, CEO of Aakhon, was also requested during the event.

The history of Aakhon with its e-HOME brand appears in the Design and Management group with other names of renowned Italian excellence, such as: Carlo Ratti Associati; Mario Cucinella Architects; Milan Engineering; Renzo Piano Building Workshop; Sapienza University of Rome; Stefano Boeri Architects.
