The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began construction in Rome of the first Mormon Temple in Italy in 2011.
It is the construction of the Religious Cultural Centre to which all the faithful Mormons present in Italy refer.
The complex consists of the temple, a chapel, a building for hospitality and a building used for training and offices. The plants, as is customary in American-style design, are concentrated in a building dedicated to them.
The architectural design of the buildings and the landscape are signed by the VCBO studio of Salt Lake City, in the state of Utha (USA).
